Another great site to go to if you're interested in looking up general weather information is http://www.weather.gov/. Weather.gov is a highly reliable source that is put out by the National Weather Service. They give accurate maps of current weather, air quality, river observations, and almost anything else you can imagine. Check it out!

Lately I've been concerned with the water levels of the Chippewa River here in Eau Claire. The NOAA has a portion of their website dedicated to moderating the severity of water levels in different rivers in different regions of the United States. Here's a link showing the region including Eau Claire and the flooding currently.
